I believe we have the wrong DNA profile to run a civilization.

Pic is from Paradise, the town that burned down.
Ah, plain cowardice then.

It's by design (pic). Turns out, if you give rich people power, it's game over.

Oops, media is all owned by rich people, rather than a (for example) government funded but separate news organization that has a clear goal of prioritizing what's important for society, as well as holding up truth etc.

imagine being from such a backwards country, filled with hate for knowledge and anything that's right, that your leading politicians intently go out of their way to try and literally destroy the world

I actually meant for the past ~half a billion years or so, lol.

Like "What were the CO2/methane/nitrous comparative levels during one of the extinction events?".

No need to mind me though, I'm sure it's all screwed anyway.

Muahahahaha!

You changed your name.

I don't censor. I tell bigots to fuck off. It's called "Not listening to morons or letting them waste your time", not 'censorship', snowflake.

@nauru-japan.bsky.social @japantimes.co.jp

In Sweden there was a recent law change, requiring people to register their cat's names.

Someone requested the names, and apparently Akakabuto (the bear from SIlver Fang) was a popular name. Many Swedes loved and still love that show. ^_^

Uh-huh-huh-huh.... Boned.

Deras ekonomi går kasst, så Putin är desperat att få ett slut på kriget.................. för nu.

Stuff like this seems like such magical thinking of whoever made the graph. I get that with smoothing lines the recent 2023+ spike "seems" like it should come down, but that's just wishful thinking.

All of those predicted scenarios need to be 'pushed up' on the graph if you ask me.

We're gonna need to artificially cool the planet soon anyway.

30C anomaly in the middle of the Arctic predicted just now (*laughs nervously*).

Äsch, det är kört ändå.

+30 graders (Celsius) avvikelse i nordpolen, lol. #wasf

Reminded me of Sweden the other day:)

Aw, don't be sad, professor. Remember that "This has always been". We've always been a bit of a fuckwit species where anyone who realizes it goes "Man, we sure are a fuckwit species".
December 20, 2024 at 11:21 PM
Deluded, brainwashed people. Centuries of serfdom.
December 18, 2024 at 10:42 PM
That bounce? That's god mocking you.

Also, made this! Please critique it, professor. ;)

My thinking is that the new 'cluster' of data since May 2023 is a new normal. This means 'mean algorithms' break and we have to rethink how to do them, like here.
December 16, 2024 at 5:46 PM
Here we go. Since the last ~2 years temperature bump is basically a "truncated" portion of the graph, that means the bump is the *new mean*.

Adjust for the ridiculously generous curve on the previous graph aaand... 2C by 2030-2031.

Sweden, yesterday.

My picture. Use as you see fit.
