30 years ago today, PJ Harvey released her 3rd album 𝐓𝐨 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐌𝐲 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞. A masterful mix of punk blues & alternative rock that showcases some of PJ's most fierce vocals and brooding songwriting. It's an excellent record that's one of the best of her career.

I really wish we would have an open conversation about the eugenics project how it originally began in the late 1800s, how it gets misunderstood as being just about human breeding. It’s actually fundamentally a pseudoscientific view of evolution and a miss-reading of ecology.
