(This isn’t a vaguepost about any particular person, and it’s been a while since I last saw that phrase. Not even sure what brought it to mind tbh. Probably something from re-reading Dorley.)

Then again I seem to have a much lower than average tolerance for crass humor and frank public expressions of graphic sexual desire. My personal discomfort or distaste doesn’t necessarily have a moral valence.

But I feel like there’s something there I struggle to articulate (or I’m reticent to).

I obv don’t think it’s inherently transmisogynistic or predatory to express lust about trans women’s bodies, or even particular facets of them that are widely fetishized, stigmatized, or commonly associated with dysphoria. But for various reasons that phrase leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.

I don’t go here but I’m inclined to agree
