Giolito looks close, but the Sox are also close. Close to getting an additional year, if he doesn't hit 140 innings. Also, don't think he's a better option than Dobbins (now) or Dick Fitts (soon). These things always have a way of working themselves out. Good problem to have.

How would you feel if the running back Justin Turner to platoon with Yoshida? Yoshida is no David Ortiz, but we're "stuck w him" & JT could be the right-handed hitter (clubhouse guy/patient hitter) to help balance the lineup. One year contract, still settling (fuck the FO), but I wouldn't hate it.
