I’m not sure about the first part in this instance. Earlier in the season we were scoring and we still seemed terrified each time the opposition crossed the halfway line.
I hate to be obvious, but I think solidity needs to be the first step here.

Fair enough, but a few weeks ago he looked ready to retire. So I’ll take the improvement for now.

You may be right, but I know I haven’t felt nearly as frustrated with his performances as earlier in the season.

I think if we fix the soft centre and make it hard for teams to score against us, the attackers won’t feel the need to snatch at chances so much.
