Mary Poppins was on TV so I watched it for the first time (it just wasn't in my VHS library as a kid) and Maggie (cat) was just FASCINATED. She sat on the floor watching the TV for like half the movie.

Last week I had to ask a bunch of Roblox-playing teens to please use library-appropriate language and as I was walking back to the circulation desk I heard one say to the other, "You angered the alpha," and now I can't stop thinking, it's me. I'm the library alpha.

There's a little gremlin inside of me trying to get me to write Paradox Live 'game of death' horror fanfiction. It snowed today so the library was practically dead today and I was the only one working so I was alone with the gremlin.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.
