We heard the same, especially in PG county where federal job losses hit pretty hard.

A beautiful scene at The Wharf in DC 3 weeks ago. We a lovely time and very few people were actually in DC, normally a horn honking city.
We were told most of the rooms haven’t booked, conventions are gone.
People don’t want to come to DC because of the current occupant in the WH.
