Agree to disagree here. First 4 episodes really well done. I feel like the acting is pretty good. And the sentimentality is a big part of it, having seen these actors literally grow up over the course of the show.

Her actions are not harmless. RFK Jr could be described as a change agent too. The reality is that psychopath fits better. Don’t call Danielle a disruptor when there are better words to use.

Someone who reflexively opposes status quo is not by definition good. Seriously fielding questions about chemtrails is not to be applauded. Changing course on trans rights to please your base, at the expense of young people’s well being is not to be applauded. This is naive thinking.

100%. And the correct approach is to wear it as a badge of honour. A lot of scar tissue gets you to this place. A) You have earned the right to use this language, and B) it irritates your kids, so worth it by definition.

In my haste to climb the soapbox, said boring instead of becoming. In fairness, I don’t know any Gen X parents who literally tunneled into their kids. A bridge too far, perhaps.
