lyra on the other hand is very in tune with her own feelings, she knew pretty early on that she was in love with davrin but didn’t want to push it until he was certain as well.

arek & revas had a very similar experience, neither realized it until their gf got kidnapped by elgarnan. revas realized it as soon as bellara was yoinked through the mirror but it took arek until his time wandering in the fade regret prison to realize that he actually loves neve.

nettles is both incredibly helpful and generous while somehow being capable of being bitter and judgy and even vindictive. she doesn't always want to help everyone she comes across but does out of duty anyway.

the concept of a home is a difficult one for both of the twins. they're both convinced that they like not being tied to a place, but deep down they both yearn to feel like they belong. eventually claude finds his place in necropolis alongside emmrich and silvan realizes rivain is where he belongs.

arek's been constantly moving after leaving the qun. the longest in the same place was his training in weisshaupt. nowadays he thinks home is wherever his heart is.
