At a B&B in way NW Connecticut while my husband is at a gaming convention. I am going to stay on this beautiful 2nd floor porch and read and crochet all day! No kids, no job, no news, no one needin anything - just whatever I feel like doing!

Today we took our kiddos to see 3 copies of the Declaration of Independence. One from 1776 unsigned, one from 1777 signed and transmitted by John Hancock, and one (shown herr) from 1823 that is a duplicate of the original in DC. Cool to see the history.

I gave up on decorating when the kids abandoned me. They sure are eating them though, aren't they?
