so here is the thing, the people who have trump the win did not vote for this. they voted out of a magical belief that trump would lower prices and make them rich. the gap between what they voted for and what trump will deliver is the space for political opportunity! bsky.app/profile/fkes...

Oklahoma has huge industrial sectors; O&G, rye, canola, beef. Speak to those workers, their unions, mobilise them around more affordable housing, better wages, lower cost of living. They’re not a border state, so anti-immigration sentiment should be easier to tackle.

Because in 2020 Oklahoma was still an economically deprived state and Biden was also an establishment democrat not offering any radical change. The results could have been very different if the Democrats ran an anti-establishment candidate that spoke to the issues of the working class like Bernie.

Of course, Trump isn’t going to provide this change - he’s a dangerous fascist populist. But neither was Kamala. Democrats need to embrace the left.

Banjo and Kazooie was the first game i ever played on nintendo 64. Think it’s responsible for my life long love of games. Such a brilliant soundtrack, fun concept and cute character design. I played the remastered version on Switch recently and it holds up!
