Just back from a solo trip on the new bike to Wales. It was a very good 690 miles all up, including lunch near a pair of old Magnox reactors, and a loop of Snowdon. Cold and wet on the way up, just cold on the way home.

A few pics from the club rideout on the weekend. Weather was kind, great turnout for a small branch, and a great exploration of places I didn't know. No pics, but the village of Ashton in the Teign Valley was very bucolic. New bike going well.

First service done and not too expensive either, screen fitted too. Makes a huge difference at 60+. Friday night fitted the luggage racks...not much swearing shows how well made it was. So naturally....rain all yesterday, rain all today....pix when it stops raining 😬😬

About 140 or 150 miles ride today from the South Devon Coast to the north coast of Cornwall near Port Isaac. 5 of us on the ride, oldest bike 50 plus years, youngest is mine...1 week old. 😎 We had wind, sun, rain, hail and mud, and tiny tiny south West roads. Nice lunch while the tempest raged

Reform has 4 MPs, including the 15 stone bag of pork scratchings Anderson and the bonkers Runcorn woman. The Lib Dems have 74 MPs and could easily form a credible Cabinet. Guess who the hackery think will form the next government?

The yellow is nice....the Gilera is a very rare 500 Saturno which weighs very little, is narrow, and a focused riding position. Great to have as a second bike....Paul has about 5 so that's fine!

Just back from what may be my last trip on the Breva. 1492 miles, 1 night Peak District, 4 nights in Moffat, 2 nights near Ambleside, and a final night near Brecon. Pretty tired. Cannot recommend the Buccleuch Arms in Moffat highly enough for motorcycle touring. Here are some pics
