Craig Mokhiber @CraigMokhiber This is outrageous. The UNSG and his spokesperson have apparently learned nothing after two years of UN failure in the face of genocide. Sacrificing UN principles and personnel in trepidatious and obsequious deference to the Israeli regime and its complicit Western sponsors is not political acumen or diplomatic prudence. It’s cowardice and abdication. What’s left of the UN’s reputation survives because of the courage and principle of SR Francesca Albanese, the UN Commission of Inquiry, the ICJ, and the heroes and martyrs of UNRWA. If the UNSG cannot stand in solidarity with them, he should step aside now and allow another to take up the post. #Shame
