So basically, best case scenario llms are not ready for this use case yet and all Amazon has done is further damage people's perception of llms and ai in general. Worse case they never fix this

So if these models are supposed to work within specific guardrails and context then why are they failing at simple repeatable tasks such as turning on lights?

Seems like a group of people became very resentful of having to comply with the social expectations that COVID lockdowns brought.

Could the phone addiction have been started during COVID though? Everyone had a lot more time at home with the phones and everything moved to online.

I saw in that WSJ piece that the ai lost it's core memory/instructions after a while. I presume this is currently unsolvable, otherwise they would have not shipped these with such a basic limitation.

The boring answer is they use vimeo and there is no way of using vimeo without tracking for analytics and bot detection.
