It is literally impossible to make a video game. You have to create a reality from scratch, and make it fun, and make it cohesive. It requires about a billion hard skills and about a million soft skills. So many disciplines.

Martyn was one of the very first friends I made in the video game business back in the late 80s. Always hilarious and down to earth. Gutted by this news.
Just heard the sad news that Martyn Brown, a co-founder of @team17.com who brought us franchises such as Alien Breed and Worms has sadly passed away. Far too young. RIP Martyn.
