There aren’t many DC-10s left in service aa it is. About half the remaining ones are used as firefighting tankers. That could be a problem for the next wildfire season though.

You had access to them in the early 00s too. It was just harder to find. But we’re not in the early 00s anymore of course. I think it will just take more willingness to branch out and find others instead of social media finding them for us.

It took time, but eventually the war ended and the US left.

Without continuing support from the US, Israel will face mounting diplomatic and economic pressure to knock it off. They’re a small country. They’d knock it off when faced with pressure by the rest of the world.

Let’s look at Vietnam. That war was end by a combination of Vietnamese people being completely unwilling to give up even against overwhelming odds, and anti-war Americans unwilling to let them government continue the war without challenge.

One that doesn’t keep getting the US involved in (or starting) wars all over, including in Palestine. Without US support, Israel’s ability to keep up the slaughter will greatly diminish. Now what can end US support?

Less suffering in the world will only come when the working class of all nations join together to take our world back. Now that’s high level, so a bit closer: we need an independent third party of the working class in the US.

What’s more, if communism didn’t work, then capitalists wouldn’t have spent the last 100+ years trying to destroy it with everything from propaganda to wars & mass murder. It’s like saying “see it doesn’t work!” after you and 10 others beat up on it with hammers and axes.

This is such projection it’s not funny. Many Christians have that kind of persecution complex because it’s exactly what y’all have been doing to everyone else for over 1000 years. And y’all are the only ones who believe in Satan, so Satanic communism is not a thing.

They were probably always both.

The very vocal and aggressive ones yes, there’s no point in trying to convince them. But a lot of people who think themselves inclusive often still have things they need to work on.

And some working class conservatives do indeed like socialism until you call it that.

Yes, we are sadly far from sufficient mass organizing in the US. Too many people won’t give up reformism, and too many people won’t give up their bigotries.

Doesn’t mean it’s impossible of course, but it’ll take years still to get there.

Than America on average perhaps, but the US has & has had it’s revolutionaries too such as the communists among the labor struggles of the early 20th century and of course the Black Panthers.

That leaves open the possibility of either going the intended path, finding a way to sneak past the walloping, or finding a clever tactic to defeat it.

Obviously this depends a lot on the implementation but if done right it increases the number of ways to play.

I think the real issue isn’t it being open world, it’s the “nothing stopping you from powering through.” Terrain obstacles can be one of those things, but aren’t the only one. Could be like “you *can* go to this other place but unless you’ve spent time leveling you’ll get walloped.”

This is what worries me much more than Trump’s daily brain farts - corporate media and social media surrendering to fascism at the slightest provocation. We need to flock from these corrupted outlets to independent media ASAP.
