Transphobia is fascism.
Kishwer Falkner in The Times talking about the rights of "biological people". As compared to trans people, who are, of course, non-biological.

While the argument presented in this article does have a point that it takes more than simply not starving to death in the street to live a good life, it is very conspicuous in what it leaves out.

Maybe if the Trump regime hadn’t been so occupied deporting innocent working class Latin people they could have done their job and prevented this.

Good reminder that trans people, Black people, Latin people, disabled people, Jewish/Muslim/Pagan/etc people are all a lot more “everyday Americans” than out of touch rich people.
Speaking at a Texas Tribune Festival on Friday, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg criticized the Democratic Party for failing to reach everyday Americans, arguing that it “got sucked in” to a conversation about identity. #TribFest25
Pete Buttigieg critiques Democrats for focus on identity
The former U.S. transportation secretary said the Democratic Party should focus more on issues gripping the country, such as health care and housing affordability.

Alice Wong taught us that disabled people don’t just leave memories behind—they leave infrastructure. Lineages of care. Methods of collectivity, survival. She named the connective tissue that holds our communities together, even across death, even across the losses that come too fast and too often.

The NTSB preliminary report on the UPS crash is out. A failure of the engine pylon structure is what caused the crash.

(What caused that failure at the particular time it happened is still under investigation.)
November 20, 2025 at 10:43 PM
The FAA has grounded all DC-10 aircraft (all variants) in addition to MD-11s. This suggests that the NTSB investigation is very concerned with the engine pylons. It may be that it was in fact the pylon, not the engine, that caused the recent UPS crash.

We all need to say this very clearly:

NO BAILOUTS FOR THEFT-TECH!

Expropriate their asses instead.

They stole from all of us and fully plan to burn the planet.

They owe us - not the other way around. 1/3

Charlotte was once a place of slow, easy mornings, coffee cups clinking in cozy cafés, jazz drifting through open doors on Tryon Street, families stepping onto the light rail with strollers and soccer bags.
