It was worse than I thought 🤢 I have cleaned it out & it’s now soaking in green bleach before I scrub it with boiling water & antibac stuff. I have meat I want to cook in it & I only realised it was still sitting by the sink yesterday when I went to put the meat in to cook 🙃 Brainfog sucks 😔

I have a new book to read that my son’s housemate has loaned me. He thought I might enjoy it after realising I like forensic psychology. I’m going to start it tonight though as it’s over 600 pages so it’s going to take me a while 😂

I went to the charity shops: haul for books/media, plus 3 summer tops for 50p each, and since I did that all on 350kcal breakfast it appears I’ve lost just over 2lb so I’m going to enjoy one of the many readymeals I bought from Te5co. Next time I’m getting a delivery or taking a trolley 😂😂

Got out the shower to a notification on the NHS app. I guess I’m ringing the doctors to say I don’t need these any more 😂😂 I have photo evidence I don’t have a cervix any more after my hysterectomy 😂😂😂

Just a few bargain plants this week - a fuchsia, lavender & campanula all half price or less so <£5 & the others were free 😁 I’m ignoring the £37ish I spent on pots, trays & compost for the free ones 🤫🫣 3 big ones will be going outside, the rest will live on my bedroom windowsill if I can save them

Went to the big orange DIY shop and my witch came out. Purple back gate in my future & a fuchsia called “Alice Hoffman” to go in the garden. I was looking for gooseberry bushes but oh well 😂😂

I KNEW it was going too smoothly! My son has fixed the back of his wardrobe on using staples 😭 It’s been nails I’ve been able to easily pull, and these staples have damaged the wood inside. Someone send chocolate icecream & a tall dark handsome man to help please 😭😭

When my son next moves he’s expecting to take his furniture from here so has asked me to collapse his bookcases etc. I probably won’t be there to reassemble them so I’ve decided to mark them up clearly so the parts don’t get mixed up with wardrobe stuff. I bet it’ll still go wrong 😂😂

I’ve wanted a crystal ball since I was a little girl. I have fond memories of using a big paperweight in my nana’s as one & claiming I could see the fairies dancing in it. So I bought this today. It’s only small as the size I want is usually about £100+ so baby steps 😁

I jokingly posted on Instagram that I was off on an adventure, first time in YEARS I’ve been out and fire engines have gone past me with sirens going. Smelled like someone had burnt the toast or something and they were too far away to see anything 😂😂

In 2019 when son started uni he bought an A3 printer and a box of printer paper. Then lockdown happened & he didn’t use it. He said I could use the paper (I have a papercutter so can cut the A3 down) and it’s still going. Just opening another pack today & there’s at least 1 more still to go! 😂

This is 2 years worth of medical stuff for me, excluding GP stuff. Each of these is either a clinic or a standalone outpatient appointment trying to find what the hell is going on with my body. Top left is just my hysterectomy stuff 🫣 I’m hoping for less medical stuff going forward 😂😂😂

For the past few years on Halloween I’ve put this up on the door & made sure it was lit up so small children were warned I had a dog who barked but they didn’t need to be scared. I don’t need to put it up this year & finding it has kind of stopped me in my tracks 😭😭

Evil alarms set. I better sleep tonight. Although given how cold I’m feeling (was pre warned about this) that may be an issue. Extra blankets on the bed & hoping for the best! It’ll be a nap tomorrow when I get home 😂

And I’m suddenly back on the sofa in my 80s childhood home with tonsillitis so bad I’m on Complan & this as I can’t eat anything solid & have an upset stomach as a result. 🤢 I hated this back then, I’m still not keen, but I’m hoping it’ll give me the energy to clean today before I fast tomorrow 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I play a couple of quick games (wordle, another word game & solitaire) each morning to try and keep my brain active & kick it into gear. Today I hit 365 completed daily solitaire challenges 😂

Woohoo! Once the money is in my account I’ll wash what I have. I’ll go pick up replacement dishes next week as I don’t have the brain capacity to deal with that this week.
