Life’s too short for boring vinyl.
Ugggghhhh, I wish I had gone with the European release of transparent blue. Clear records - especially ones as crystal clear as this - are more difficult for me to edit.

I had a supervisor go through a divorce and he (36, I wanna say) picked up a 20yo. I started making fun of him like crazy (which did NOT help my annual report) but me calling her his ward caught fire in the office and he was shamed so bad he broke up with her and started dating a 33yo.

Hmmmm. Well, that might throw off my order if buying records a bit.

Now if only they pressed the acoustic session they did for the anniversary of Fush Yu Mang, I’d be set!

I walked away from reading that book thinking I either WILDLY misread it or all of the dues who can’t shut up about it did but one of us failed at reading comprehension.

I had a picture of her at my desk at work when I was a flying instructor. People - young adults, mostly - would come in for debriefs and they’d ask about her.

It became a side job of mine to educate whatever youth of America came through my door about Poison Ivy and The Cramps.

Fortunately I like the process to get my photos. It’s very “adult coloring book,” and a chill way to spend 15 minutes while listening to YouTube videos.

If you’re interested in the psychology of changing minds for social progress, I can’t overstate my recommendation for David McRaney’s “How Minds Change.”

Fantastic book.

Just FYI, all of these get saved and sent to my family for dopamine boosts. Amy’s a cute dog.

Me too. Too may people are being bogged down by weak, pedantic arguments and toddler-like temper tantrums. Instead, they should be ignored, voted out, and left to fossilize while progressives actually progress instead of falling for these diversion tactics time and time again.

It’s transactional: if someone is unwilling to care about others, I can’t waste my time giving them the same attention. They’re cut off at best and, at worst, they become an obstacle on the path toward actual progress. When you start letting them block you with their BS, that’s when you lose.

I think you just gotta break the ice and talk to them. Ask them to a mutual hobby’s store or to a coffee shop. Get to know them, make friends with them, and if a romantic relationship develops naturally, great. If not, you’ve still got a new friend.

The whole establishment is a joke built on attracting as much press and money as possible. People should have clicked it the second Lennon made it in and not McCartney.

You wouldn’t believe how much sleep I lose weighing the option of coughing up the dough and buying the BSM copy despite its WILDLY high price tag.

My youngest is getting more and more obsessed with Incubus and I find it endlessly entertaining.

I just got done with Kim Gordon’s book and it’s wild how well she painted a picture of Love with his a few statements.
