I looked that up recently and they changed it, it's now supposed to be shelved as it's written. So MacDonald before Madison before McDonald.

The case is local to me. I feel as if losing one's child is enough consequence. "Decided to let the boys walk home from the store" doesn't seem criminal.

Apparently that varies from state to state. CVS stores with Minute Clinics have different guidelines from CVS stores without, and different states allow pharmacists to administer vaccines to different age ranges.

Okay but also. How many gifted kids are neurotypical? I mean aside from giftedness itself being a neurodivergence (which I'm not totally sold on). So how many "formerly gifted" kids are also undiagnosed ADHD/autistic adults whose coping skills are running out after years of masking? Yeah.

I got into it with people who had no sympathy for Asheville, NC & the surrounding area because "They voted for the president so they get what they deserve!" 1) Asheville is in Buncombe Co., which went 60/40 FOR Harris; 2) Trump won NC by fewer than 200,000 votes. None of us deserve any of this.

Mine is kind of a rollercoaster? January on the left, swooping down a little each month, till December is the bottom, then it goes back up again.

My number line is similar, except it has several sharp turns, so it's more 3D.

I've seen a few and I believe the Netflix one is the only one that's dark. Certainly the classic Megan Follows Anne mini-series that ran on PBS is NOT dark or very different from the books.

Buncombe County, where Asheville is located, went 60/40 FOR Harris. They DID vote for the candidate who would have helped.

The state was almost a 50/50 split. Fewer than 200,000 more people voted for Trump than Harris. Buncombe County, where Asheville is located, went 60/40 FOR Harris.

When fans asked for a proper ending for Jericho, they did NOT ask for a real-life sequel.

And our country! I heard foreign students bring in tens of billions of dollars ($43 billion as per NPR) to our economy as a whole. That's not money our country can afford to lose right now.

Ooh! I've done that! (Do not recommend. We are now gambling: Husband's car will be paid off in 3 years. Will mine last 3 more years? ...)

Yes! You know who sticks their head in the church nursery looking to help? The teenage boys. Always.

I'm not an editor but as soon as I saw "Tidewater Dreams" by Allende I was suspicious. There may well be a book with that title, but if so it's a mass market paperback romance novel. I know of two books (at least) titled "Hurricane Season" but neither author is the one listed. Etc.

Once a supervisor told me it was a good thing I'd not been hired under the previous supervisor, she'd never have hired me/kept me on, since I don't wear makeup.

I worked there 5 years. Apparently not wearing makeup didn't make me bad at my job. Who'da thunk. 🤦‍♀️
