Just watched Small Town, Big Story on sky. It was excellent. I got such a kick out of it as as the locations are so local to me.

Kid A is doing her mock German oral exam for junior cert and I had that dream again where I was attending classes for the leaving cert in my old school. Alarm woke me up when I was explaining I was 50 to a classmate. Shudder. And I’m not 50 till March!!

He can be a contradictory artist, he embraced Baudelaire’s 'painting of modern life,' yet avoided every modern style that ruled Paris during his three-decades there. His use of colour can be sublime and when he is good, he is breathtaking

If you played an instrument back in high school and stopped: we are in a golden age of decent cheap instruments.
The guitars are better, the amps are better. The pedals are cheaper, the wind instruments are actually instruments and not just shaped like them, etc.
Jump back into it.

I love being able to charge my Steam Deck, Mac, and phone all with the same charger. This was unheard of 5 years ago. It was annoying having to use multiple wires.
