...smart enough to connect the dots without a flashback. IMO, it dilutes the emotional resonance of me connecting the dots myself and feeling the feels it made me feel. Directors, trust me as the viewer when you've set something up that's beautiful and resonant! #filmsky #moviethoughts (2/2)

It's a Nic Cage movie from last year. I quite liked it; it's strange and a little surreal and visually stunning. Not a perfect film but any leaks, but definitely worth it for me :)
