Spider-man & Wolverine 2 is out in stores today. Story by @marcguggenheim.bsky.social with art by Kaare Andrews and me. Easily one of my favorite issues I've had the pleasure of coloring.

So I got another pen display. My house is currently under reconstruction due to flooding, so I’m working from my gaming desk.The 13” Huion is fantastic, but was never intended as my daily driver. Needing something larger but not too big I got an XP-Pen Artist pro 19 Gen 2 on sale. Great so far.

RIP Peter David. One of my favorite series growing up was Peter David’s X-Factor series with Stroman and Quesada on art duties. So without hesitation I jumped at the chance to work on Madrox with Mr. David and @pablor2810.bsky.social. I always point to Madrox as the book as my fav coloring approach.

I picked up a Huion Kamvas 13 (gen 3) as a “portable” option. It’s not a stand alone tablet. You need a pC/Mac. I’ve been using it for about 10 minutes, but I think I love it. It’s $240 on Amazon and the pen is better than my Cintiq 27 Pro. Color is great out of the box. Really impressed.

Some of my dad's paintings. He's a traditional oil painter. He was my art school. I'd watch him paint over his shoulder. I can still smell the paint thinner used to clean his brushes.

Awhile back @ramonvillalobos.bsky.social drew this Batman and I colored it up with Golden State Warrior's alternate jersey colors. Little did I know that I was just predicting Steph "Batman" Curry. Mr. Curry with 3 of the most incredible shots tonight against the Rockets. #GoldenStateWarriors #NBA

X-Manhunt Omega is out on stands. It's the first X-Men story I've worked on in maybe 12 years and it's a whopper. 40 pages with art by @biggleb.bsky.social Enid Balam and Federica Mancin. Big Gleb and I are cooking up something else that fans of series I've worked on will be excited about.

Watching Paradise while I work and glanced over to see the scene is taking place at the President's desk on Airforce One. Immediately thinking why do I know that place so well. It's cause I rendered it multiple times during Telepaths for AWA. I'm going to have the craziest memories when I'm old.

Back in 2018 I got the chance to color “Edge of Spider-geddon” before Into the Spider-verse came out. I was excited to color Spider-Punk knowing he’d be in the movie, but extra excited to introduce Punk Hulk. Now I’m carrying teams with him in #MarvelRivals.
