I'm 54 & ready to start a whole new book in life. I've been a librarian since '93, happily married since '02, & enjoy sharing random thoughts.
Wouldn't it be wild if a Bill Clinton blowjob was part of another presidential impeachment? That would almost make the first one worth it.

Quite likely, the night I fell in love with Moonlighting and both stars.
Because ABC suits were worried viewers would be freaked out by a black and white episode in primetime, Glen Gordon Caron got Orson Welles to tape an intro letting audiences know what was going on. He sadly passed a few days after filming and 5 days before the episode aired.

I just realized that the fight for Columbus Day is a response to Juneteenth. They want a reminder that this country celebrates the start of denying Native people their basic human rights. Hm. Columbus was considered over the top cruel even in his time. What does that say about us?

Sharing a rec for escapism: Star Trek: Discovery. It's only 65 episodes! I finished it this week & I'm going to miss it. I heard the finale was meant to end the season, not the series, & they went back for reshoots but it ended the season's story exceptionally. I just wish it felt like a proper end.

Oh hey - bsky has a character limit! I love word games. Rephrasing until I can get a thought all in can be so much fun. Of course, if I have nothing useful to say who cares how many characters there are?

As a limited X-Twitter user who never quite "got the appeal," I am still figuring out how folks use this kind of tool. If we can focus photos on Instagram, and work on LinkedIn, what is Bluesky's focus? In other words... why do YOU come here?
