Most of my commute is bike lanes and quiet streets (chosen for hill reasons), but the pink highlight is where I go on the sidewalk. I used to take the road but I got tired of almost being run over. Very rarely (less than monthly) is anyone walking while I'm going through.

Don't get targeted by Libs of Tiktok while working at Emory, they will just fire you.
You can be bad in many other ways and they will keep you employed. But if you piss off right-wing extremists/trolls, that's where they draw the line.

As an atheist, this makes me think of MLK Jr's principles of nonviolence. Can there be an atheist version of this? I don't know, honestly. I think the universe is fleeting and ultimately meaningless, so what do you do with that? I don't have any faith, let alone faith in justice winning out.
