I’m not sure how good the analysis is when The Times puts all responsibility at Starmer’s door but stays silent on the complicity of right wing media (itself included) in promoting Farage and destabilising our democracy, by refusing to hold the ever more extreme and dangerous right wing to account.

I'll hear 'punchy' when Starmer stops inserting far right dog-whistle words like 'patriotic' into his announcements, defends immigration as a huge benefit to the UK and a part of our culture for centuries, and stops generally being a genocide enabling, authoritarian fraud
