@wsj.com You write how government efforts have failed Appalachia. Please note that the cutting of government programs, FEMA aid, etc. began THIS YEAR with the Trump administration cutbacks. Hopefully a very red state will realize this and turn blue (or at least purple). #voteDemocratic2026

This July 4 I am saddened by the actions of my government. Reading history of the Revolution by Ken Atkinson makes me wonder if we have the capacity to revolt from our current authoritarian.
