Magic! Meddling! Mayhem! +dry humour, pirates, faeries & dragons. A page-turner with occasional quirky illustrations.
Love this series.
A hardcover copy of The Extremely Inconvenient Adventures of Bronte Mettlestone by Jaclyn Moriarty with illustrations by Kelly Canby. The book is upright on a garden wall with greenery behind it and next to it are two bottles of cinnamon and nutmeg, some sugar cubes, rose petals and a tiny teapot. The book cover is predominantly dark blue with gold foiled writing for the title.

Find Peace in a Poem: poetry about mindfulness. I bought this gem of a book at @paperbird_books.

This anthology has a mix of poets & illustrators. Familiar poems (Kit Wright’s ‘The Magic Box’; Michael Rosen’s ‘The Rhythm of Life’) + new ones. Balm for the soul. Highly recommend.
