Later we paid a visit to Leeds Council, where we helped our Leeds branch secure a meeting about ending the use of bailiffs, after a year of dismissals and delays. ✊

After a fancy buffet lunch, the conference was due to hold a session on "The Future of Enforcement", but instead attendees heard from ACORN members with personal experience of Bailiff harassment and the lasting damage it causes.

In July, we decided to try to meet Nikki and Sion's landlord again by visiting the address listed in their contract - which is in Newport. A group of us went with Nikki, who brought with her all the necessary documents and evidence to make it easy for the landlord. At last, we met the man! (5)
