I'm enjoying spying signs of life in between the grey days

Working in comms & social media can make it extra challenging to have a long stretch offline, but in the tenth year of my business I’ve got the process down.

So this is me signing off for the year.

On my second migraine in six days. Wishing back the calm and sunny skies and the time to walk beneath them.

I struggle to leave the house sometimes, so have started scheduling things for earlier in the morning. 8am haircut got me walking the streets of Exeter as the sun rose. A good decision.

Still thinking about how awesome last weekend was at the Digital Marketing Union retreat.

Some of the best minds across SEO, content, PPC, e-commerce, webdev, advertising, link building.

And what was extra lovely is that most discussions had nothing to do with marketing. We just hung out.

I so rarely find myself on Exeter’s high street but was pleasantly surprised this evening by how sparkly and light it was

Me too, I’d love to know how they work it out!

That Japan approach is interesting. It’d be a dilemma for people who can’t afford driveways, but do need a car.

I’d also love to see more guidance around suitability of cars for city centres. These two are so unnecessarily large!

I’m usually a stickler for restricting anything Christmassy to December, but this year I’ve already happily indulged in lebkuchen, sparkly nail varnish and, today, the jumper ✨

I cannot explain how happy the snow in Exeter made me feel today. Spent hours just wandering around, watching birds, photographing leaves, enjoying the sun on my face and the crunch beneath my boots.

Hugely grateful to our Devon Wildlife Trust membership for re-electing me as a trustee.

I'm excited to see what I can get done in this final year!
