I kept dreaming about trying my hand at realistic drawings of cats, and who pops up first on my feed than Uni! Limited myself to one hour on them in CSP, and this feels like a good warmup. Uni, I'm sorry I can't do you justice! I hope I can capture your cuteness better with more practice!

Finished an old piece from my WIPs. The initial sketch was a mess! To fix it, I made the canvas bigger, giving the character space to exist beyond a face. While able to stand alone as a #fantasyart piece, this is based on my #FFXIV character if she gave into the dragon blood in her veins.

One big mistaken hole I jumped into feet first was the thought that I had to create as fast as possible.
That only counts in commercial work. Turn around equals money for companies, but not always for artists. I am really enjoying taking my time with the details! #WIP

Oldie goldie from 2018! I entered "Kirin" into the Huion contest. Of course I didn't win, but I still had a ton of fun drawing this and learned a lot from it! I think that is one thing I love most about artwork - when I learn something and have fun during the process of learning.

The story line for my FFXIV OC is that she was forced to drink dragon's blood, and with the help of her Lalafell friend stopped the transformation, leaving her cheek marked with a scar of scales. This is her at the end of her story line, accepting herself for who she is - all of who she is.

Some concept art I was doing for a scale pattern on a Naga's hand. We ended up picking the first one, but then the pose we settled on completely obscured the design XD At least my commissioner has an art of how the scales fit on his character's hands.

As part of the Helene cleanup, they have started burning the rubbish (fallen trees that can't be repuroosed for wood mostly). I have terrible lung health, so that not only can't do my morning walk, but being in any building with poor air circulation sucks! Not feeling good, and the doggo knows.

I've was practicing using more geometric and abstract shapes to create flower like designs based on different pride flags. The glitter sprinkles on the petal edges came out very fun.

So this time's reason for the fall off from the art streak?
Kittens.
Five kittens were dumped at my SO's work, and while one got a home right away, no one wanted to try to get them to a shelter. So we went after close, caught them, and tried to take them to the nearby shelter. 1/10
