Classic American betrayal
Defense Sec. Hegseth has ordered a pause in sending a shipment of missiles and ammunition to Ukraine amid concern about the U.S. military’s stockpiles, according to defense officials, congressional officials and two sources with knowledge of the decision.
Pentagon halts weapons shipment to Ukraine amid concerns over U.S. stockpile
The move "was made to put America’s interests first," a White House spokeswoman said, as U.S. munitions have been depleted in recent years.

I feel like journalists and interviewers should be allowed to ask "Are you out of your fucking mind?" three to five times a year

This was always going to happen but I still hate it.

How the actual hell is Musky gonna get in front of a camera and say it's propaganda that the mainstream media labelled him as a Nazi? He did the thing. There's lots of video but if you ever hear any audio that was picked up you can hear him grunting. He knew what he was doing.

How is Lutnick gonna justify calling Canada a 'socialist regime' when his Dear Leader is out there telling people how many dolls and pencils they need?

Is it a "Classic" American betrayal at this point?
Mohammad served the U.S. cause during the war in Afghanistan.

When it ended, he fled his homeland to avoid being hunted by the Taliban.

But after entering the U.S., Mohammad learned his application for a special immigrant visa was denied. https://nbcnews.to/44MCv5s

I'm pretty sure that every time that moron says some annexation bullshit 'only works as a state' is because he realizes that his 'America First' (America Alone) plan only even has a shot if they get a hold of Canada.

Thank you again to the Americans for inflicting this on the world.

On this day in 1917, the Battle of Vimy Ridge began.
It is one of the most famous battles in Canadian history, which saw four Canadian divisions fighting together for the first time against three German divisions.
Let's look at some facts of this battle.

Apparently 47's admin is trying to deal with a lot of requests for meetings to negotiate. I find that surprising. Why negotiate with a country that doesn't honour its deals?

He axed the tax
The consumer carbon tax is not working. It’s become too divisive — at a time when Canada needs to be united.

As my government’s first order of business, I have cancelled it.

I'm still shocked that in all of this there are so many people that don't understand the difference between a tariff and a surcharge. Tariffs are taxes paid by the importer to the importing country. Surcharges are price increases paid to the exporter. Ontario placed a surcharge on its electricity.

Whenever people talk about politics they always say "X and their buddies..." which makes sense. Everything in politics is a game that is about having good friends. The U.S. seems to want to learn what it's like to abandon its good friends and try to get favour with some bad ones.

I wonder if the Americans feel like this is definitely on the path of remaking their greatness. America First is America Alone and in a world that requires friendships they are going to learn a tough lesson in an even tougher way.

America seems to be really determined to learn a harsh lesson about alliances and friendships. Today's display with Zelenskyy was disgusting.

What are dollars and old equipment worth when measured against the blood of Ukrainians in service of keeping Putin at bay and burning his resources?
