I had something I wanted to contribute to the Manuskript project but I couldn't get it to run because I'm on mac silicon and one of the libraries has compatibility issues. And it's just a python project with 3 dependencies!

Either way both have a lot of detail in different areas and cannot be really compared. They're both going to feel like traditional roguelikes a bit with a lot more to offer.

I'm not an expert but caves of qud has a lot more content in terms of abilities, races, mutations. In DF Adventure mode the detail comes from the mastery options, complicated combat actions (grappling, targeting specific body parts). In DF there is a rumor system for finding jobs. 1/2
