A proud moment this summer: bagging a stone that isn't already on the @megalithic.bsky.social (very rare occurrence!). On the Beara peninsula east of Adrigole, a little way north of the Drumlave row. It involved crawling under barbed wire but then we saw there was a gate. #StandingStoneSunday

Cornwall council took away all the bins on our estate because apparently they can't afford to provide bins in low income areas. But if you don't live on a council estate you can still have the privilege of bins. The place is covered in rubbish already. How does this make sense!

Hares are nocturnal and active at night, leading to their association with the moon and lunar deities like Cerridwen and Andraste. Like the moon, the hare was believed to die each day and be reborn each night, making it a powerful symbol of immortality and rebirth.

Spriggan - the Cornish piskies malevolent and grotesque cousins who guard the barrows, cairns and stone circles of West Penwith. Known to conjure storms, steal cattle and terrify travellers. Most frighteningly of all steal mortal children and swap them for changelings. #folkyfriday #Cornwall

I made friends with a number of trees as a child. Some of which I still visit today.
