I'm curious of whether the pairing of Guillermo del Toro and a film has ever been flipped. Has there ever been one where the film directs Guillermo del Toro or is it always the other way around?

My NYC-born friend I used to walk with all the time said his North Carolina family members won’t walk even to the other side of their property. There’s grape trees 100 feet or so from the house that they don’t visit because their road doesn’t go there.

There’s cities I’ve lived in, here in the US where my friends and I mostly walk within a mile or two, a lot more if there’s nice weather and enough time, but then I’ve met suburban folks who get befuddled when it’s more than a block.

It's partly that he imagines life mostly as cartoons, and this is very endearing in certain circumstances. Of course, the way he actually wields power is awful.

Trump watches the TV and he can tell when there's an exciting guy on TV, and if he can't stop him he wants to join him to be on the winning side. Of course he'll talk to some other people and they'll steer him other ways, but today he was happy the charming guy from the TV came to his office.
