The only reason I could be mad at her for an audio book is that she only recorded audio for the first Veronica Mars novel and not the second.

Also nobody will admit they had it wrong and some will find ways to double down.

I had some of the toys and read the comic. The cartoon was bad. I had the main villain and his giant flying bug monster you could wear on your hand like a puppet and I think it was my favorite pre-TMNT action figure. Him or Firestorm or Stinkor.

I don’t love most anthology films but this is a murderer’s row.

I watched it at the tender age of sixteen because I was obsessed with Grant Morrison’s the Invisibles and there’s an issue where some characters get stuck in a psychic construct of the novel. Anyway. Also a one and done for me but I appreciate you guys tackling it.

My house enjoys cats and hippos, so I don’t know about the Bluesky algorithm but this kills in our home.

One hundred percent. I wish they had split the season a bit more evenly and given the post time jump stuff more breathing room- I love a movie theater set slasher, and Brancati (who I admit I’ve loved since Degrassi) could have had more time away from ‘boring protagonist syndrome’ land.

Episode 6 ruled. I think the overall story this season was sorta nonsense but giving the lead roles to Paula Brancati and Jim Watson, probably the best members of the ensemble, helped a lot. That and the up to par gore is keeping me a fan.

So can I type about Charlie Kirk ‘He was a controversial figure. Whether you didn’t like him or did like him, things happen,” and not be criticized for it by the lunatics? Because I feel like that’s what people got in trouble for saying about that guy.

This sounds stupid but the way those fingers are working in that panel is fucking genius.

are there to help victims? But the entire concept seems at best insanely ill conceived, and at worst evidence of a bad human continuing to find other bad humans.

The whole thing makes me sad; there were a few years in my early 20s where Mack on Smallville was nearly Buffy levels of important to my queer nerd heart, and she was apparently a very lovely human at one point. I believe in redemption but the whole idea of a monetized podcast… maybe if the profits

I find Patton deeply annoying but he’s right.

Compromised but better than Frankenstein. 🤷

I hate these movies but my real easy solution is not watching them. Hatewatch clout chasers are garbage.

I’m reading so little Marvel these days and you are dragging me back in.

PS finally read Masterpiece (I have no idea how this survived unread on my bookshelf this long) and it feels sorta like to heist stories what Knives Out is to murder mysteries? Maybe one of my favorite things you’ve written.

Lotta good episodes of Jem. I like the one where they go to China.

If you’re looking for random good episodes when you get to D&D I really liked Valley of the Unicorns and Dragon’s Graveyard. I was thinking of watching the Cold Slither episode of GI Joe because I just read the sequel comic Image released for it.

The old Dungeons and Dragons cartoon is surprisingly fun.

God I hope it’s just that we meet a second psychotic adult who can pass for a child and they’re being fostered by the same family and it’s just silly as fuck.
