Here for a good time not a long time
How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

Such a weak opening offer, ask for more!!

Here’s your opening offer: eliminate the budget for ICE, 3x funding for USAID and NIH, restore all rescinded appropriations, resignations from RFK, Hegesth, Bondi, Vought.

Flights are getting cancelled and Dems just had sweeping election victories, fight!

Are you seriously only asking for republicans to restore ACA funding to previous levels and “open a committee to study long-term healthcare affordability”??

If you think Republicans who want to abolish the ACA will produce anything actionable in a bipartisan committee, I have a bridge to sell you.

Agree with everything on the list except Beastie Boys. Spike Jonze made a great documentary about them a few years back, worth watching.

MCA was a real one.

Bummer, not seeing anything about mandating parks clear the sidewalks adjacent to them. Tower Grove was a nightmare last year.

So tired of this “isn’t it curious that…” framing that Dems love to use.

Pull punches, alluding to contradictions inherent in Republican politics doesn’t create political opportunities for reorienting power and policy.
