The economy has to grow because there's more people every year - more people need more resources to feed them. Before mid-20th century ag tech - chemical fertilizer, mechanization and pesticides - the population was relatively stable by comparison, prices didn't need to change so fast.

A2-rated microSD cards even harder to find in reasonable capacities - I had a 16GB Samsung A2 in my Pi Zero 2W go bad and the smallest replacement I could find was 32GB - and not Samsung or Sandisk, but Raspberry Pi-branded cards!

To be fair the video leaves unclear whether the brown liquid is sourced from a reservoir within the jet, or if the fuselage itself has a portal or chute to enable the pilot's own output to be delivered on targets.

I didn't make it halfway through S1, the only thing it shares with source material is character names and the occasional involvement of space travel... It wasn't awful, but very tough to follow. Then again the books have been considered unfilmable for 70 years?
