I use fedora because it's stable enough that I don't have to worry about graphics drivers bricking my system, while also having decently new software in the repos.

I can install nodejs from the fedora repos and it's the current version, not 12.2.0

Check that the lock at the back of the gpu is engaged, when this happened to me it was ever so slightly out of the socket and my pc would crash randomly and spectacularly. Also happened with an nvme drive once

If reseating everything doesn't work, might be time to start an RMA

I also didn't even know that was a thing you could do until the instructions were like "visit this website to configure your keyboard"

Apparently we have keyboards running open source firmware now, that's neat
