Books like this will not get men reading literary fiction again. If these kinds of novels worked, Jonathan Franzen would have led to some kind of male readership renaissance. I have opinions about them
1. Nobody I agree with politically tries to tell me those assholes are the savior.

Part of the success of anti-vax and anti-mask campaigns is that you have to read 10-15 paragraphs to see the words vaccine or mask. (Not just this article). Then another 3-5 paragraphs until they mention either is extremely protective even for a new strain.
