I’m somewhere beyond the circle (which is fitting because I dislike crowds)

Thank you for the sweet message! 💜

I’m late, but maybe something like “Grabber-maws”, “grapple-maws”, or “grapple-mouths” could suit them?

I never thought about giving dinosaurs a clouded pattern, but it looks absolutely glorious on them— awesome artwork as usual ⭐️

such a lovely creature; so uncanny but familiar at the same time (I love to see that kind of balance in alien designs)

THANK YOU for saying this, like oml I see it all the time and there are many obvious exceptions to this “rule”.

What you’re describing seems to be a common dilemma for anyone who chooses to make art their business to career. I personally like seeing a variety of artwork, so portraits are cool. But i totally understand why you may post mostly “kidlit-style” to build your portfolio. do whatever works for you 🤷‍♀️

these guys are cool! I can see the inspirations for sure. Toad-headed lizards are super cool, whenever I see pictures of them I also get inspired to draw funky-mouth animals ✨

thank you! their overall design has changed a tiny bit since this post, but they’re pretty much the same. I’m glad to hear that they’re charming!

also studying plate tectonics and everything influenced by them makes my brain hurt at times,

but it’s all in hopes of giving these critters a more detailed and believable world to dwell on ✨
