4. WHAT I HOPE FOR. I hope that with each story, every child’s spark of wisdom grows a little brighter, that each child learns to take solace in who they are and embrace our differences. I read stories so that children may tell their own stories someday.

2. WHY I SIT IN A CHILDREN’S CHAIR. I don’t like to be perceived as “other.” I prefer to be part of the council of children making it easier to envelop them in the stories and transport them, for a while, to another time and place.
