RTW brought instructional supplies to Arise & Shine in Kenya this week. Storybooks (English & Swahili), posters, puzzles, & paper. Teacher Jacqueline entertained the learners reading "Manu the Monkey." They made important connections between background knowledge and new vocabulary.
Then we danced!

Kids are dying to go to school. RtW provides education services to school deserts, such as in Ghana where 11 students drowned last year crossing a river to get to school.
