Wanted to be productive this morning and thought I could work on hands. I like drawing them despite their challenge. It’s very interesting to gradually learn the flow of lines and shape of objects and bodies.

I’ve been practicing by copying manga panels and it’s helped a lot with proportions and side profiles. I hope my own drawings can evolve beyond just sketches.

年に一度の楽しみである古本市に諸事情で行けなかった。悲しみ…。
しかしやりきれなさを紛らわせようと漫画を買ってきたところ、こちら絵もエピソードも丁寧で気持ちが洗われた。古本市で興味の赴くままに本を掘り出したかったけれど、今は手元にある本をちゃんと読んできちんと思い出にすることにつとめましょう（教訓）（確かに…）

I watched Legend of Hei and the new Demon Slayer movie all in one week and have been happily enjoying the great content. I still can’t really draw a side face, but it’s not too bad. Cat-like eyes are so fun to draw 🐈‍⬛
