We released Gaia the hoary bat and actually caught it on video—miracles do happen! Magnolia the silver-haired bat also made a beautiful return to the wild... but all we have is blurry leaves and one of us asking, “Did you get it?"

Yep! It is a rabies-vaccinated thumb of one of our fabulous volunteers who is a bat biologist! :) Those are kevlar-lined goatskin leather gloves.🦇 ❤️
