I get so cranky without that me time. Regardless if I get sleep or not. 😏

Thank you for this post. I have three books published to Amazon and looking to expand once the are off of kindle direct. This has helped me. I am happy to share my experience with publishing to Amazon if you want to DM me.

The first side character I introduced is the MC’s Mom. She is loving and supportive, it is just a phone call. Then comes an actual introduction of a co-worker who offers comical relief throughout. Both stay with the MC the whole time.

Thank you for your story. I am just starting out as a writer and I had a “friend” read my book who was very critical of it. It has been hard not to take it personally, but I just keep telling myself my book is not for everyone.

I don’t really have a single reset author. I love a variety of voices, and my real reset usually comes from stepping away, letting things get quiet, then coming back to reading with fresh eyes. Different seasons, different books.

I am jealous of people who can read multiple books at once. If I don’t read just one book at a time, start to finish, I will forget what I was reading and never go back to the first one, let alone 4-5 at the same time.

I love this idea. With any big goal it helps to break it down and how it fits into your every day life. Seems way more doable that way. Thanks for the tip.
