My first presidential vote was for Jimmy Carter, and I've supported every Democrat running since.
Unfortunately, my peers spent the past 40 years with their heads firmly placed up their backside.
When you were young, young voters did not turn out.
It's not any one generation. Young people don't vote. They didn't when you were young. Or when I was young.
That's why this is so remarkable. They got us beat.
This is unheard of. I don't think I've ever seen an election where youth turnout exceeded middle-aged, much less elderly people.
