The ME region has festered in armed conflicts since end of WWII. Colonialism was in its zenith. Britain controlled Palestine and, euphoric in victory, allowed traumatized European Jews to settle there. Not to control, but to share control with the indigenous. Now Trump hints at more Gaza turmoil.
