In her acceptance lecture at the @rcsi.bsky.social Cameron Award for Population Health 2025, Professor Binagwaho spoke about her experience in Rwanda establishing health systems, focused on equity, to ensure that people could receive necessary life-saving treatments.

In her address, she reflected on the challenges of balancing reconciliation & justice in post-Genocide Rwanda; on the importance of engaging communities; of building health systems; and on drawing hope from the impact of these efforts in the face of extraordinary challenges.
