City’s squad planning heading into this season was catastrophic.
Anyone with a pair of eyes knew that not having a player to rotate with Rodri would kill us.

Savio shouldn’t be our number one winger.
Foden being anonymous every game is killing us.
Haaland is nothing without service.
Lewis, Gundogan and Bernardo as a midfield three is laughable.

When you consider how absolutely ‘done’ City would’ve been with one bad injury in a few positions prior to the season starting, it shows you how appalling the squad planning was.
Haaland, Rodri, KDB. Any of those three out for the season derails us. One’s already happened.

Haaland. Any sort of injury to him is a catastrophe for the same reason Rodri’s was. We have no-one to replace him.
Rodri aside, if you could give one City player who is currently injured a clean bill of health for the season, who would you pick?

Enjoying my Bluesky feed but what I would say is, I ticked off that I liked sports and now I’m having NFL and NBA rammed down my throat almost as hard as I was having right-wing nonsense and porn rammed down my throat on X.
At least I like the NFL a bit.
